What is a “parish”? Here’s part of what the Catechism says: The parish initiates the Christian people into the ordinary expression of the liturgical life...it teaches Christ’s saving doctrine; it practices the charity of the Lord in good works and brotherly love.”

Absolutely every Catholic should register at a parish. By registering at a parish, you are declaring your desire to be part of a Catholic faith community. Parish registration is important and necessary, and it’s simply what we do.

• It helps our shepherd—Father Pilmaiken—know his flock.

• It allows you to participate in the sacraments.

• It tells the diocese who we are, which impacts everything from budgets to programs.
