Adoration Prayers
Major prayers prayed during our Adoration hour.

O Salutaris Hostia
O Salutaris Hostia
Quae coeli pandis ostium
Bella premunt hostilia
Da robur fer auxilium
Uni trinoque Domino
Sit sempi terna gloria
Qui vitam sine termino
Nobis donet in patria.
Amen
O Saving Victim, opening wide,
The gate of heaven to man below!
Our foes press on from every side;
Thine aid supply, thy strength bestows.
To Thy great name by endless praise,
Immortal Godhead, one in Three;
Oh, grant us endless length of days,
In our true native land with Thee.
Amen
Meditation- PRAYER OF ADORATION AND PETITION
I adore You, O Jesus, true God and true man, here present in the Holy Eucharist, as I humbly kneel before You and unite myself in spirit with all the faithful on earth and all the Saints in Heaven. In heartfelt gratitude for so great a blessing, I love You, my Jesus, with my whole soul, for You are infinitely perfect and all worthy of my love. Give me the grace never more in any way to offend You. Grant that I may be renewed by Your Eucharistic presence here on earth and be found worthy to arrive with Mary at the enjoyment of Your eternal and blessed presence in heaven. Amen.

Down in adoration falling, Lo! the sacred Host we hail,
Lo! o'er ancient forms departing
Newer rites of grace prevail; Faith for all defects supplying,
Where the feeble senses fail.
To the everlasting Father, And the Son Who reigns on high With the Holy Spirit proceeding
Forth from each eternally,
Be salvation, honor blessing,
Might and endless majesty.
Amen
Panem de caelo praestitisti eis. You have given them bread from heaven.
Omne delectamentum in se habentem. Containing in itself all sweetness.
Oremus
Deus, qui nobis sub Sacramento mirabili
Passionis tuae memoriam reliquisti; tribue,
quaesumus, ita nos Corporis et Sanguinis tui
sacra mysteria venerari, ut redemptionis tuae
fructum in nobis iugiter sentiamus: Qui vivis
et regnas in saecula saeculorum.
Amen.
Let us pray Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the Eucharist as the memorial of your suffering and death. May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood, help us to experience the salvation won for us and the peace of the kingdom, where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

SALVE REGINA
Salve, Regina, mater misericordiae
Vita dulce do et spes nostra, salve
Ad te clamamus, exsules, filii Hevae.
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes in hac la crimarum valle.
Eia ergo, Advocata nostra,
Illos tuos misericordes oculos ad nos converte.
Et Jesum benedictum fructum ventris tui,
Nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.
O Clemens, O pia, O dulcis, Virgo Maria
Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Mary, mother and queen of tender mercy, Our life, our comfort, and our hope, we hail you.
From this foreign land Eve’s sons and daughters cry to you.
So lost, so full of fear, we mourn, we grieve, we sigh from this tearful vale of exile.
Ah, then, our help our advocate and guide, turn now to us the gaze of your all-loving eyes, so full of mercy.
And Jesus your Son, and Lord, your womb’s most blessed fruit show him to us when we complete our sojourn. O gentle, O loving, O beloved, O sweet Virgin Mary
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen
Holy God, we praise Thy Name;
Lord of all, we bow before Thee!
All on earth Thy scepter claim,
All in heaven above adore Thee;
Infinite Thy vast domain,
Everlasting is Thy reign.
Holy Father, Holy Son,
Holy Spirit, Three we name Thee;
While in essence only One,
Undivided God we claim Thee;
And adoring bend the knee,
While we own the mystery.
